GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS:
For more specific booking conditions, please refer to the
booking form provided at time of reservation
1. Please note that this tour requires a minimum of 10 passengers
travelling to proceed, should the minimum number not be reached by
30 June 2010, deposited passengers may elect either to receive a
full refund, or to rebook on a future tour date.
2. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your space,
with full payment due 90 days prior to travel.
Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in your
booking being cancelled and your place being assigned to those on
waitlist.
3. A certificate of health from your GP stating that you are fit to
trek is required along with your booking form
4. Alex Prez, MTA Travel and our trekking partners require a signed
disclaimer form prior to leaving Australia, Alex Prez & MTA Travel
accept no responsibility for any injury or loss during any part of
the tour.
5. Altitude sickness can present itself in any age or fitness level,
your tour leader retains the final say over whether you proceed or
return down the mountain.
6. Should you suffer the signs of Altitude Sickness or become
injured and fail to reach base camp, no refund will be payable for
any unused portion of the tour.
7. All Rescue & Evacuation charges shall be payable by the
participant, to be claimed back from Travel Insurance on return to
Australia. Neither Alex Prez nor MTA Travel are able to accept
responsibility for payment of any evacuation charges should you
require evacuation for any reason
8. Airline & Hotel listed are subject to change should they become
unavailable or due to unforeseen circumstances such as withdrawal of
airline services. Should the hotel be unavailable, a similar 4 star
property in central Kathmandu will be utilised.
9. Frequent Flyer points are not available for accrual on tour
airfare.
10. Altitude Sickness or injury may prevent you from completing the
entire trek and as such our Nepal trekking company, Alex Prez & MTA
Travel make no guarantee that you will reach Base Camp and are
unable to offer any compensation for failing to do so. No third
party is authorised to promise on behalf of Alex Prez or MTA Travel
a refund for any unused portion of your tour for any reason.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Your safety is of paramount concern whilst travelling. Please note that your trek leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Our every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, however as this is adventure travel in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee it! Weather conditions, the health of member can all contribute to changes the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.
